Salmon is most popular sushi in the world.

The most popular sushi are row fish.
However, I heard that other country people like egg sushi, sushi roll, eel.

I love every sushi. 

When I eat sushi, I do not use chopsticks. I eat by hands.

Shrine and temple

Do you know  a difference from Shinto shrine and temple?

There are a lot of Shinto shrines and temples in Japan.

A Shinto shrine and a temple have different religion.
A Shinto shrine has Shintoism , a temple has Buddhism.

The origin of Shintoism began in Japan , and shrine has  " a Torii ".

This is  a Torii in Isejinguu, very famous shrine. Usually,Japanese go there in New Year and play for happiness.

It is a gateway to a Shinto shirine and people think God come to Torii.

And the origin of Buddhism began in China or India.

This is Kinkakuji. It is made of gold, very beautiful.

Kiyomizudera also very beautiful.

I recommend that you go to there in fall, because trees begin to change color.

So awesome.

Japan town in Brazil

In winter vacation,

After going to Bogota, I moved to Brazil.

There are many Japanese restaurant and Japan town.

We went to Japan town and eat sushi.

And there is Japanese gate.

There are some Japanese in Sao Paulo.

Also, I found Sukiya.

There are many Japanese restaurant, but taste is so so...

In Brazil, we need to eat meat!!

Samsung is best consumer electoronic company in the South America

When I went to South America few weeks ago, I found Samsung advertise, shop, liquid crystal display which is placed in airport, everywhere.

I couldn't find Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba etc...

Japanese consumer electronic company's profits are falling down last year.

There are a lot of reasons
For example, Toshiba had accounting fraud, so their company's reputation is getting bad.
And a lot of Japanese companies sell of business, so they do not expand business.

The most reason is : Other countries company employ labor by low cost salary.
China and Korean company's fixed cost is cheaper than Japan.

Their big company can make a profit easily if they can keep fixed cost cheaply.

Now, I use Japanese electric (laptop, camera etc)

I hope that Japanese company start revolution.

Japanese food for vegetarian

My roommate is vegetarian.

I cooked Japanese food for vegetarian.

・　miso soup

・　Japanese omelet

・ Inari-zushi(vegetarian sushi)

・ Hijiki seaweed with white beans

These are typical food in Japan.

Japanese shop in Sao paulo and Lapaz

I came back to Boston two days ago.

I had long time trip in South America.

I had good experience and enjoyed my travel.

I went to Japanese restaurant in Brazil and Lapaz.

There are japan town in Sao Paulo.

I ate sashimi. so so good. However, I miss real Japanese food.

I went to Japanese restaurant in Lapaz.

Yakitori is very good!! but ramen is not good for me.

It is true that I need to go back to Japan and I need to eat a lot.

New year in Bogota

Happy new year!!

I celebrated new year in Bogota.

We made sushi.

My friend think sushi= roll sushi with salmon with cream cheese.

Many people ( not Japanese) eat salmon sushi with cream cheese.

For us, it is wired.

But she really really enjoy because she made sushi!!

She is good cooker!!
